Sanjay Punekar – Contemporary Painter
Short Bio
Sanjay Punekar is a contemporary Indian visual artist whose work bridges the expressive power of abstraction with poetic insights drawn from nature and inner experience. Rooted in a lifelong engagement with natural rhythms, his paintings create contemplative spaces that engage both mind and emotion.
Artistic Statement
My work seeks to translate the subtleties of nature, inner consciousness, and spiritual reflection into visual form. Through the interplay of color, texture, and movement, I explore the dynamic relationship between external landscapes and internal worlds. Each painting is a gesture toward balance — between chaos and calm, structure and intuition — inviting viewers into lingering contemplation. I work primarily in acrylic on canvas, creating pieces that resonate with a quiet intensity and invite personal interpretation, connection, and reflection
